1. Our client after signing the contract has the complete responsibility  for the state of the car.

2. Upon receiving the car, our agency will check the car. The car will have to be in the same condition as when rented to the client.

3. Minimum driver age is 21 years, with a 2 years period of holding a driver’s license. Citizens of non -EU countries are required to have a valid international Driver’s License. 

4.  Any fines and tickets imposed during the rental period, as a result of Traffic Code violations, shall concern and place the responsibility on the renter. In the event that license plates are withheld, the renter will be charged with the applicable daily rental cost until the day that the license plates are returned.

5. Payment methods. SEVENISLANDWAYS RENT A CAR  accepts payments either in cash (€) or by credit card(Visa or Mastercard) & Debit cards. The Renter is required to present a credit card, even if the payment is made by the use of cash. The estimated total cost of the car hire is prepaid.

6. Insurance. Third party insurance for property damage and bodily injury. Bodily injury and property damage due to the driver's fault are not covered.
   
   Our company provides 2 options:
   
   • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in all our bookings and with this insurance limits the driver's liability if the car is damaged to 300€ + VAT. Any damage to the underside of the car, wheels, tires, door running boards, mirrors, lights, window glasses, windscreen glass, roof, antenna, interior of the car, sound system, damage due to alcohol or drugs influence and loss or damage to fuel tank cap are not covered. Τhe renter is 100% responsible for the coverage of any of the above damages.
   • Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is an additional insurance that completely relieves the customer of his liability for participating in damages. The cost is additional 80€ from the total reservation and is calculated upon payment. Any damage to the underside of the car, wheels, tires, door running boards, mirrors, lights, window glasses, windscreen glass, roof, antenna, interior of the car, sound system, damage due to alcohol or drugs influence and loss or damage to fuel tank cap are not covered. Τhe renter is 100% responsible for the coverage of any of the above damages.

7. Cancellation policies/Refund. From 21 days or more prior to the arrival of the client, then the deposit is returned to the client. For less than 21 days the client must pay the half price of the total days that will be canceled. If the customer cancels up to 5 days before booking, the entire amount of the reservation is NOT refundable. 

8. Additional Driver. The first driver is free of charge, the second is 20€. If it’s hidden the fine is 100€.
   
9. Fuel. The driver has to return the vehicle with at least the same amount of fuel in the tank as on the day that he/she picked up the car, otherwise he/she will be charged with the difference for the fuel difference. No refund will be affected for the vehicles returned with more fuel.
10. Accident. In the event of an accident, call the Police immediately and then call our office.
11. Ferrying the car: In the case of rental between islands, the lessees are required to return the vehicle to the pickup branch, otherwise all the transport costs shall be charged to them. In case of mechanical damage or accident, lessees are obliged to transfer the car at their own expense. During the transport of the car by boat, the insurance cover does not apply.
12. Road assistance. Road assistance due to malfunction of vehicle during working hours is free.
13.  Taxes:
    • All rates include 24% V.A.T.
    • All fines and administrative penalties are charged to the lessee.
    • Prices and terms of rental can be changed without notice.
    • The Greek Courts are competent to resolve any disputes arising here from.

14. Car cleaning. In the event of difficult dirt (stains, sand, hairs, etc.), that would require biological cleaning, the client will be charged 100 euro. In case of burning or other damage, the client will be charged according to the damage
15. Car keys. In case car keys are lost or destroyed, the client will be charged with 150€.

16. Drop off/ pick up point. The main pick-up and drop-off location for the rental car is the company's office. For pick-up or drop-off at other offered locations, an additional charge applies, which is borne by the customer. 

NOTE TO HIRER

NOTE - THE OWNER MUST GIVE THE HIRER AT LEAST ONE COPY OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT WHICH MUST BE KEPT IN THE VEHICLE THROUGHOUT THE TERM OF THE HIRE AND PRODUCED ON DEMAND TO AN ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
